The moral lesson that I learned from the movie "DIE HARD 4" is no matter who you are, whatever may be your status in society, where or which country or place you belong... it doesn't matter as long as you are using the advance technology of computer you can make change for the better and the saddest thing is might even for the worst. Using computer may harm other people and maybe the one who's using it also if he did not use it for a good reasons and purpose.
The result of computer to our society may contingent to the user itself. It's just the matter of having the ethics of using the computer. Because no matter how good the computer that bring it's features to our life it also gives bad features if we were abusing it.
The significance of the movie towards my course as an I.T. student is that no matter what may be the bugs or things that may be causes the errors to the program, it has a corresponding solution or set of codes that would make a program that serves as a solution to solve a certain bugs or errors. The movie give me an idea that there are so many thing which aren't still discover. If we I.T. people are just going to explore more about computer we will discover more things that would make us amaze in such a way that those things that we are going to discover are useful in our daily lives and would make things much easier that it is.
As an I.T. student I found the movie so interesting and amazing because for just one or single negotiation or transaction over the internet it will cause trouble if you didn't know about the things that you're up to using computer. In the movie one of the villain's man send a virus over the internet to Matthew Farrel who's the one who accidentally hacked some information from the villain. The said virus will destroy a whole room by just one single blow if the receiver will delete it from his file or computer system. I was amaze when I saw it because in reality it could really happen if the programmer is really good enough to make a program for an explosive virus just by sending it in a form of message.
The movie shows that there is no impossible of manipulating telecommunications, transportation and even the source of electricity just by using the computer.
